Comdr.; Ypres 1916; Vimy Ridge, 1917; Avion 1917; Passchendaele, 1917; Hill 70, 1917; shot through both lungs at Ypres, 4 May 1916; 24th General Hospital Etaples; Killed in Action 29th December 1917, at St. Emile near Lens; buried in St Pierre.
