Great War Portraits

This is the Commonwealth War Graves gardener who cared for my 19 year old Great Uncle Alex Manly and his mates in Y Farm Military Cemetery, Bois-Grenier. There were three other ranks of the 2nd Bn. Middlesex Regt killed between 27th Oct-4th Nov, Alex being one. The next battalion in the trenches was 1/7th Bn. Middlesex Regt. Bill Partridge a veteran who features in 'Great War Portraits' served with them, if only I'd known when he was alive.
