Great War Portraits

Robbie Burns, 7th Battalion The Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders. Fought at Loos September 1915. Wounded on the Somme Battlefield in December 1916. He kept a diary during the war but didn't look at it until the 1990s. When I arrived he said 'I'm not going to talk about the fighting'. Born 1895, died 2000.
